Villages Nature Paris is east of the capital, and the Eiffel Tower is on the opposite side of the city, so this is one of the longer journeys you can make from the park. The good news is that it is straightforward once you know the options. This guide compares a private transfer with the RER A and metro, with realistic times and costs, plus a few tips for the tower itself.
Journey at a glance
| Option | Typical time | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (Piyo Cab) | About 1 hour in normal traffic | €90 fixed for 1–4 passengers | Families, luggage, no changes |
| Bus + RER A + metro | Around 1 hour 30 door to door | A few euros per person | Light travellers on a budget |
| Own car | About 1 hour, more at rush hour | Fuel, tolls and Paris parking | Drivers comfortable in Paris traffic |
Fares, timetables and ticket prices change. The figures below are what we found at the time of writing, so check the operator or our price calculator before you travel.
Option 1: Private transfer
A private transfer is the easiest way to make this trip. Your driver collects you at Villages Nature, drives across Paris and drops you as close to the tower as traffic rules allow, with no changes and no stairs with suitcases or pushchairs.
The Piyo Cab fixed fare from the Disneyland area to central Paris is €90 for up to four passengers, €100 for five, €110 for six, €120 for seven and €130 for eight. Baby seats and booster seats are included free, and you pay the driver at the end of the journey.

What it costs per person in a group
A private transfer is priced per vehicle, not per person, so the cost per head falls quickly as the group grows. At the fixed fares above, four passengers pay about €22 each, six pay about €18 each and a full group of eight pays about €16 each. For a family or a group of friends, that is close to the cost of the bus and train, without the changes.
What to expect on the day
- Before you leave: confirm your pick-up point at Villages Nature (cottage, reception or day-visitor entrance) and the time you want to leave.
- The drive: the route crosses the east of Paris. Your driver chooses the best road depending on traffic.
- Drop-off: traffic rules near the tower restrict where cars can stop, so your driver will drop you at the closest practical point. From there it is a short walk to the queue.
- Coming back: pre-book the return at the same time, and give yourself a buffer after your visit. Tower visits often run longer than planned.
Other sights close to the Eiffel Tower
- Trocadéro gardens across the river, for the classic view of the tower.
- Champ de Mars, the long lawn at the tower’s base, good for a picnic.
- Musée du quai Branly, a short walk along the river.
Option 2: Bus, RER A and metro
The public transport route has three legs:
- Bus to the RER. Take bus 47 to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, or bus 2292 to Val d’Europe.
- RER A towards Paris. Ride west to Charles de Gaulle – Étoile, the stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Expect roughly 40 minutes.
- Metro line 6. From Étoile, take line 6 towards Nation. Get off at Trocadéro for the classic view across the river, or at Bir-Hakeim to be a short walk from the tower’s base.
Allow around an hour and a half in total, plus waiting time for the bus. It works well for one or two travellers with a small bag, but it is tiring with children or luggage.
Option 3: Driving yourself
Driving takes about an hour outside peak times, but traffic into Paris from the east is heavy on weekday mornings and on Friday and Sunday evenings. Parking near the Eiffel Tower is limited and expensive, so most drivers use a public car park a short walk away.
Tips for visiting the Eiffel Tower
- Book your tickets in advance on the official Eiffel Tower website to avoid long queues.
- Go early or late in the day for smaller crowds and softer light for photos.
- For the best photo of the whole tower, walk to the Trocadéro terrace across the river.
- Plan your return before you go. If you are heading back to Villages Nature in the evening, pre-book your driver so you are not waiting for a taxi.
