Torcy is a town in the western part of Marne-la-Vallée, east of Paris, and it is a convenient base for visitors who want to be near Disneyland Paris without staying in the resort itself. It is also one of the places where the choice of transfer matters most when you land at Beauvais airport (BVA), because the airport lies far to the north and the journey crosses most of the Paris region. This guide sets out the options and how to arrange a fixed price.
Beauvais to Torcy at a glance
| Option | Typical time | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (Piyo Cab) | About 1 hour 20–30 minutes | Fixed quote before you book | Door to door, flight tracking, child seats |
| Airport shuttle + metro/RER + RER A | About 2.5 hours or more | Per-person tickets (check the operators) | Several changes with luggage |
Journey times and timetables change. Figures here are typical, so check the operator or our fare calculator before you travel.
Private transfer to Torcy
A driver meets you at arrivals and takes you directly to your hotel or apartment in Torcy. After a budget flight and perhaps a late landing, a single ride saves you from a long chain of connections through central Paris.
How the price works
Torcy is not one of the named destinations in our fare calculator, so we confirm a fixed price in advance. Send your flight number, the number of passengers and your address by WhatsApp or the contact page, and we reply with a fare before you book. If your accommodation is close to the Disney resort, the Disney-area fares on our Marne-la-Vallée guide may apply instead.
What is included
- Fixed fare, no meter: the price you see when you book is the price you pay, however long the drive takes.
- Flight tracking: give us your flight number and we watch it. Budget flights often land a little early or late, and your driver adjusts to the real landing time.
- Child seats: one baby seat and one booster seat are free. Tell us the children’s ages when you book.
- Pay at the end: booking is free, you pay the driver after the ride, and you can change or cancel up to 24 hours before.
By public transport
From Beauvais the public transport route is long. The airport shuttle bus runs into Paris, to Porte Maillot, in roughly 1 hour 15 minutes, and from there you continue by metro or RER to Châtelet–Les Halles and change again to the RER A. With the connections and waiting time, many travellers report two and a half to three hours in total. The shuttle routes and timetables have changed in the past because of roadworks, so check the airport’s official site for the current service before you plan around it.
Torcy has its own station on the RER A, on the branch towards Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy. The station opened in 1980 and was the end of that branch until the line was extended to Disneyland in 1992. Trains run frequently, and some terminate at Torcy, so check that your train goes on to your destination if you are going further.
What is around Torcy
- Bay 2 is the nearest major shopping centre, close to the station.
- Noisiel is next door, with the Parc de Noisiel, the former Menier chocolate factory buildings and the Ferme du Buisson arts centre.
- Château de Champs-sur-Marne and other heritage sites are within a few kilometres.
- Disneyland Paris is about 16 km away by road, or a direct RER A ride.
Why Torcy suits some travellers
Staying in a town such as Torcy puts you within easy reach of both Disneyland Paris and central Paris on the same RER line, with a wider choice of supermarkets and restaurants than in the resort itself. It suits longer stays and groups who want a more ordinary neighbourhood base. If you want to stay right beside the parks, see our guide to Val d’Europe.
The return to Beauvais
Book the return when you book the arrival, and give us your departure time. Flights from Beauvais often leave early, so we plan the pick-up around your airline’s check-in deadline. You can change either leg up to 24 hours before.

| Atmosphere | An ordinary residential town | Resort and hotels |
| Transfer price from Beauvais | Fixed quote on request | Fixed Disney-area fares |
Getting around from Torcy
The RER A takes you east to the Disney parks and west into central Paris without a change, and several local bus lines serve the station. That makes Torcy a practical base for families who plan both a Disney trip and days in Paris. Check the RER A timetable before you travel, because trains on this branch do not all run to the same terminus.
Eating and shopping nearby
Bay 2, the shopping and leisure centre beside the station, has supermarkets, restaurants and entertainment. Next door, Noisiel offers the Parc de Noisiel and the arts centre at the Ferme du Buisson. If you want a larger choice, the Val d’Europe shopping centre is a short drive away. See our Val d’Europe guide.
Practical tips
- Give us the full address and building name when you ask for the quote.
